What a makhana grade tells you
Suta is a traditional size-grade reference used in the makhana trade. Our catalogue uses grades from 3 Suta through 6+ and a separate handpicked selection. A size grade helps you compare the listed product; it is not a nutrition score, a food-safety certificate or a guarantee that every piece is identical.
Compare the actual product specification
Natural pieces vary in size, shape and colour. Check the named grade, net quantity and packing for the offer you are considering. For a bulk order, ask us to confirm the acceptable size range, broken-piece tolerance, sample specification and any other requirements in the written quotation. Do not assume that every supplier uses identical grade tolerances.
Our retail selections
- Standard: 4 Suta.
- Traditional: 5 Suta.
- Elite: 6 Suta.
- Supreme: 6+ Suta.
- Special Handpicked: the listed 6+ handpicked selection.
- Mixed: mixed sizes, as described for the selected product.
The current product page and label govern the offer. Check the selected pack size and price before ordering; a higher size grade does not by itself establish a health benefit, certification or suitability for a particular diet.
Choose for your intended use
Consider the appearance and texture you want in your recipe, the quantity you need and the price of the selected pack. For a new wholesale specification, discuss a sample and written requirements before committing to a larger quantity. Preparation, seasoning and storage also affect the finished food.
Retail, wholesale and export orders
Retail packs use the public shopping path. Approved trade buyers can compare the available wholesale grades and quantities in the B2B portal. For delivery outside India, confirm the destination, packing, documents and import requirements before accepting an export quotation.
